Graduation

Yay!! An update!!

Aaron and I finally walked for graduation in May. Aaron finished his school last August but never was able to walk. I finally finished my school work and we walked together with friends and family cheering in the crowd. My mom was able to come out (my dad wasn't able to come because the Predators were able to make it to the 2nd round), my grandma and Aunt Suzi flew in from Oregon, and my grandparents drove down from Canada. Aaron mom, dad, sister, and cousin all made the trip up to Logan as well. The weekend was filled with family time, eating, and hockey. Graduation day was very long. We started the day off by attending the Commencement ceremony and a walk through the campus (for the last time). After Commencement we went to Coppermill for lunch and then rushed back to have our colleges ceremony. Luckily Aaron and I were in the same college. We walked across the stage and received our diploma covers (I thought it was really funny that inside the diploma cover it says "this does not guarantee graduation"). After the college ceremony we headed back to our place and took a nap before the Predators game started. We headed over to the hotel where everyone was staying and watched the Predators game in the main lobby. We ordered pizza and had graduation cake. The front desk lady was really cool about us being there and even joined in the celebration (we won that night). All in all the weekend was really fun. When I get pictures I will post them for everyone to see.

Peterson For Parkinson's Dinner

The night before the golf tournament my dad hosted a huge dinner at the Factory in Franklin. The place was all decked out with auction items, food, celebrities, and close friends of our family. My dad raised a lot of money and we had tons of fun. Here are some pictures from the night.

My dad and Henry Cho.. he thought it would be funny to try and perform.

My dad doctors from Vanderbilt University. They are amazing men and I am grateful they are taking care of my dad.

Peterson For Parkinson's Golf Tourney

So every year my dad hosts a golf tournament and dinner to raise money for Parkinson's research. Each year it has gotten bigger and bigger and we are excited to announce the joining of his golf tournament and the Nashville Predators to
urnament. This next year is going to be huge! Here are some pictures from this past event in September.

All the golfers eating after the tourny

Every year this is the team that is goofing off

Both sets of grandparents were able to come (minus grandpa strat)

The winning team... they won 42 inch plasma tv's and trophies

I was so tired by the golf tournament that I thought I was going to throw up. The dinner was the night before and we were up really late.
This was my dads team. Aaron and Brad got to play with him and Doc Davis (dads doc- the short guy in the middle) was the caddy for my dad.

Blog Stalkers

So I was at work today and two of my co-workers asked if I had a blog, so I said that I did. They then asked me if it would be okay if they blog stalked me.. This is a shout out for you Jamie and Tressa. I hope you enjoy my blog and I will be much better at updating it. I need to learn how to create cute backgrounds and stuff like that. My blog stalkers will be able to teach me all of that. Until next time everyone!

Bad Blogger

Wow! I can't believe its been a year since I got on this. A lot has happened since then. I quit my job at the University because they were horrible to me. I did a lot for them and it was really sad but it was the best move for me. I got a new job at a place called Conservice. It is a utility billing and management company. We take the bills of apt communities and process their utilities bills for them so they don't have to worry about it. I was a processor and did data entry, but after two months I got a promotion to a team lead. I started of by doing the night shift because of my school schedule but now I work during the day and love every minute of it. The environment is awesome, its a growing company, health benefits, and a wage increase from my last job. Aaron is working at Legacy House Assisted living as a CNA and MedTech. He was finished with school in August and now is just waiting for me to finish. I finish this May and we will both walk together at graduation. Pretty much our lives consist of us working and me doing and online class. Aaron applied for PA school this year and we are now waiting to hear back from 3 schools that he interviewed at. I hate the waiting game. Nothing else is really new.. Our families are doing good and we are doing good in Logan. I promise to be a better blogger in the coming months!
